About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated maintenance assistant to join our growing team in Williamsville, NY. Canterbury Woods is a continuing care retirement community dedicated to providing older adults with the best possible living experience, offering a lifestyle that meets their needs and interests.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment, including plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical tasks.
- Conduct preventive maintenance audits.
- Perform interior and exterior patrols of the facility.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations as a first responder.
- Report all accidents and incidents to the supervisor.
- Assist with valet parking of residents' automobiles.
- Use department radios for communication and response.
- Prepare written reports as necessary.
Requirements
- Three (3) years of maintenance-related employment is preferred.
- Must have basic maintenance knowledge, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Must possess a valid Driver's license.
