About the Role

Support Teacher shall teach assigned classes, attend weekly collaboration meetings, supervise advisory classes, record student attendance, monitor student activity and behavior, mentor and monitor students in clubs and activities, assist with school activities, supervise breakfast or lunch duty, dismissals, and/or in-school suspension, and be responsible for classroom cleanliness.

Responsibilities

Teach assigned classes.
Attend weekly collaboration meetings.
Supervise advisory classes as assigned.
Record student attendance.
Monitor student activity and behavior in the hallways.
Mentor and monitor students in clubs and activities.
Assist with the coordination, facilitation and/or participation in any activities scheduled by the school, including extra-curricular activities for the students.
Supervise breakfast or lunch duty, dismissals, and/or in-school suspension (ISS) as assigned.
Assist with the cleanliness and tidiness of his/her classrooms.
Ensure the classroom is left clean and tidy by the end of the school day.
Perform all other duties and responsibilities as directed by BuffSci in a competent and faithful manner.
Maintain professional dress.
