About the Role

As part of HDR's Building Engineering Services Group, you'll help design the critical infrastructure that supports the digital age and shapes the spaces where people work, connect, and thrive. This role focuses on driving technology adoption, including automation and AI, within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop training materials for automation tools
  • Lead virtual and in-person training sessions across Central Texas offices
  • Work directly with users across business groups to identify opportunities for automation and AI
  • Communicate ongoing technology updates from corporate technology to local users
  • Scope automation and AI initiatives with Business Class Leadership and Operational Leadership
  • Develop and execute software testing strategies and plans
  • Translate user needs into clearly defined problem statements, pilot scopes, test cases, and adoption plans
  • Work independently and exercise considerable discretion with sensitive and confidential information
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, and assist with presentations
  • Actively participate in project reviews
  • Exhibit professionalism with clients and corporate executives
  • Work closely with multiple executives, Project Managers and project teams
  • Perform other duties as needed

Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Skills

  • Autodesk Revit and related design workflows
  • Defining and implementing software testing frameworks
  • Driving technology adoption at scale
  • Product owner or product manager role experience
  • Developing and delivering training programs
  • Using tools such as Power BI to track adoption, performance, and key usage metrics
  • Evaluating or implementing AI and automation tools
