About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries as an Armed Security Officer Part Time Patrol. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity, allowing you to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of commercial properties, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed.
- Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and carry authorized firearms in accordance with Allied Universal policies, site procedures, and applicable laws.
- Prepare accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
