About the Role
Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned location. Preserves order and enforces regulations for the site. Prevents unauthorized entry and protects evidence. All duties must be performed honestly, ethically, and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
- Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, and permitting entry.
- Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; and obtaining signatures.
- Performing tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
Requirements
- Must have and maintain an Armed N.Y.S. Security Guard license for retired Law Enforcement.
- Ability to be an effective team member.
- Must be able to stand and complete patrols.
- Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.
- Ability to provide high quality customer service.
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, at various social levels and across diverse cultures.

- Up to USD $49.00/Hr.
