About the Role
The Email Marketing Associate will utilize Salesforce's Marketing Cloud and Data 360 to develop, implement, and optimize email marketing strategies, aiming to increase membership and program registrations. This role involves email scheduling, list segmentation, automation, delivery, and performance analysis to enhance engagement and drive measurable results.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic email marketing campaigns.
- Identify target segments, define campaign goals, and determine optimal sending frequency and timing.
- Ensure data accuracy and hygiene, maintain opt-in practices, and comply with data protection regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on email marketing efforts.
- Maintain best practices in email marketing.
- Develop and execute end-to-end email marketing campaigns from conceptualization to analysis.
- Segment and manage email lists and set up flow builder for accurate targeting and personalized communication.
- Identify opportunities for email optimization and A/B testing to analyze performance metrics.
- Monitor and study email campaign key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Explore new technologies, including AI, to enhance marketing efforts.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in email marketing.
- Attend weekly program meetings to provide updates and plan future marketing.
- Work with the Associate Marketing Director on marketing campaign schedules.
Requirements
- Associate level degree or higher, or equivalent experience, preferably in Marketing, Communications or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in email marketing.
- 1 year of experience with Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud email marketing system required.
- Familiarity with CRM integration systems and customer segmentation.
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices.
- Proficiency in project management platforms, such as Microsoft planner and lists.
- Ability to handle multiple projects at once with different stakeholders.
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS for email template customization.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using tools such as Google Analytics and Salesforce analytics.
- Experience and proficiency with A/B testing and in analyzing performance metrics.
- Knowledge of email personalization, flow builder, and dynamic content strategies.
- Familiarity with deliverability, GDPR and CAN-SPAM compliance a plus.
- Analytical mindset to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, adherence to deadlines, ability to prioritize workload, and demonstrate solid judgment.
- Creative thinking and the ability to develop strategic email content.
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
- Ability to work effectively and be responsive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Self-motivated and able to assume responsibility and work autonomously and collaboratively in a professional manner.
