About the Role
Gallagher's Commercial Broking Division is seeking a talented Development Executive to join their highly regarded team, focusing on mid-corporate business. This role offers the opportunity to work with a global leader in insurance and risk management, delivering tailored solutions while growing your profile in business development.
Responsibilities
- Actively seek and respond to all new business opportunities whilst exceeding targets.
- Focus on the needs of retail customers, upselling services and products.
- Contribute to the overall target as a strong performer and great teammate.
- Attend trade related dinners, AGM’s, trade shows, expo’s etc., utilizing interpersonal skills to network and seize new opportunities.
- Negotiate effectively with Underwriters and Insurers to secure appropriate terms.
- Present a dynamic and professional image of the company, encouraging dialogue about the industry and expertise.
Requirements
- Proven track record in business development and sales within the insurance industry.
- Experience delivering against targets in a regulated environment.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to generate leads and build pipelines independently.
- Client-focused with dedication to providing the best possible service and outcomes.
- Team player who values collaboration and thrives in a supportive environment.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Willing to travel as needed.
