About the Role
Seeking professional and dependable Retail Security Officers for a high-traffic shopping center. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a safe and welcoming experience for employees, shoppers, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a highly visible security presence throughout the property
- Conduct routine patrols of the mall, stores, parking areas, and common spaces
- Monitor activity and identify potential safety or security concerns
- Respond to incidents professionally and follow established procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe environment
- Work closely with property management, emergency personnel, and law enforcement when necessary
- Prepare clear, accurate, and timely incident reports
- Help create a professional, secure, and welcoming environment for everyone visiting the property
Requirements
- Willing and able to travel to Garden City, NY
- Valid NYS Security Guard License required
- Valid NYS Driver's License and clean driving record required
- Must be available for the required schedule: Saturday–Tuesday: 4:00 PM–12:00 AM, Thursday: 12:00 AM–8:00 AM
- Must be at least 18 years of age
