About the Role

Fastly is seeking a Staff Product Manager to shape the future of user and developer experiences on its Edge Platform. This role involves empowering developers and platform teams with essential management capabilities.

Responsibilities

Define the roadmap for the next phase of UX and developer experiences for the Fastly Control Panel, CLI and developer tooling
Define the roadmap for identity and access management (IAM), AI agent access, and API token lifecycle capabilities across Fastly’s edge platform with the principle of least privilege
Partner with stakeholders across the organization to deliver access tooling to customers
Define and monitor success metrics using data-driven goals
Understand use cases across a broad spectrum of industry segments, translate and synthesize those into crisp product requirements
Foster strong relationships with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Revenue teams
Collaborate directly with core security engineering, infrastructure, customer support, and sales engineering to ensure seamless, multi-tenant developer workflows

Requirements

8+ years in product management or technical product leadership, ideally on security, IAM, infrastructure, or developer facing products
Clear, confident communicator who can tailor your narrative in real-time
Comfortable presenting complex technical concepts to executives and customers alike with clarity and conviction
Enthusiastic focus on discovering the “why” that underlies market problems
Can translate complex technical capabilities into clear value

Skills

Understanding of building cloud services and applications in an enterprise environment
Passion for driving adoption through product analytics with experience
Deep understanding of user and developer experience
