About the Role
This entry-level position implements BIM and VDC technology to assist in the design and construction coordination process. The ideal candidate is a recent or upcoming graduate from an Architecture, Construction or Engineering program with strong interpersonal skills, technical problem-solving abilities, leadership skills, and enjoys working within a fast-paced innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Review and audit 3D models from consultants and contractors in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks
- Manages BIM Construction Process and ensures BIM Execution Plan is being observed
- Conducts Clash detection and visual walkthroughs using Navisworks Manage
- Issue meeting agenda, minutes, and reports based on coordination
- Hold weekly coordination meeting with project team members
- Early design review and constructability analysis
- Manages/Updates the organization and distribution of BIM projects
- BIM and VDC Technology integration in the field
- Works alongside Project Manager, Project Engineers, Superintendents to ensure projects are coordinated correctly and efficiently
Requirements
- Previous experience working in the AEC industry preferred but not required.
- Understanding of the main principles of architecture, engineering, and construction
- Highly organized with ability to efficiently manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Aptitude for working collaboratively with teams on projects
- Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- High level of professionalism, motivation, attention to detail
- Resilient, positive, and confident character
Skills
- BIM knowledge and interest in working with Construction Technology
- Experience in Autodesk Revit & AutoCAD
- Navisworks knowledge preferred
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite preferred (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Knowledge of Bluebeam, Procore, P6 and/or Synchro preferred
