About the Role
This is a SaaS enterprise sales leadership role, managing a team of Enterprise Account Managers across North America. The role focuses on helping brands communicate more effectively with customers, building a winning team, and expanding the customer base by driving AI sales and adoption.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop Account Managers to execute upsells/cross sells within a rapidly evolving ecosystem and dynamic technology.
- Focus the team on the entire post-sales cycle for driving AI sales and adoption.
- Help teams systematically identify and prioritize key install-base growth opportunities.
- Evangelize additional products.
- Execute with a high velocity of transactions with a high degree of operational rigor.
- Nurture key relationships within Braze and throughout the customer base.
- Prepare for and participate directly in customer-facing engagements.
- Recruit, retain, inspire, and develop top talent.
- Lead teams through the full-cycle SaaS upsells: prospecting, whitespace mapping, upsell/cross sell execution, and long-term relationship growth.
- Coordinate and work cross-functionally internally with Sales Directors, AEs, Renewal Managers, Marketing, Customer Success, Legal, and Sales Operations.
- Build teams and processes from the ground up.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of successful experience in saas or AI sales, leading a team of quota-carrying Overlay Sellers or AI/Product Specialists Sellers, ideally in the Enterprise sector.
- Proven ability to recruit, retain, inspire, and develop top talent.
- Proven experience in leading teams through the full-cycle SaaS upsells: prospecting, whitespace mapping, upsell/cross sell execution, and long-term relationship growth.
- Ability to coordinate and work cross-functionally internally with internal constituencies, including Sales Directors, AE’s, Renewal Managers, Marketing, Customer Success, Legal, and Sales Operations.
- Experience building teams and processes from the ground up.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent commercial and legal negotiation skills.
- Strong technical and business acumen; the ability to engage with multiple customer personas across a wide variety of industries and within both technical and marketing functional roles.
- Experience selling agentic solutions or selling Marketing Technology is a strong plus.

Salary/Compensations
- For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $133,000 and $165,000/year, with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $262,000 and $330,000/year (including bonus or commission).
