About the Role

The Analytics and Automation Centre of Excellence is a focused Network Services group responsible for advancing capabilities in automation, orchestration, data analytics, tooling, and functionality integrations within the SLF ecosystem. This role supports the Director, Analytics and Automation Centre of Excellence to increase efficiency, with primary responsibility for tooling, analytics, and automation design, delivery, and capability management for the network ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Assist in advancing enabling technologies for Automation, Data & Analytics, DevOps, API, and Digital Assets within Network Services and business partners for on-premises or in-cloud services and technologies.
Develop and deploy automation and analytical solutions, data extraction tools, visualizations, dashboards, and machine learning models.
Promote analytics throughout DBTS.
Collaborate with AACoE peers and ENS stakeholders to improve processes and increase efficiency by delivering effective and secure analytics and automation solutions.
Perform analysis and communicate reports derived from data, transforming them into actionable insights to aid business decisions.
Provide advanced problem-solving to mentor technicians and enhance their problem-solving skills, including strategy development and advanced problem management techniques.
Solve escalated problems related to failed end-user hardware, local user software errors, and single-user virus incident remediation.

Requirements

Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent (Bachelor of Science degree an advantage).
Progressive network and information technology, data extraction, data visualization, and analysis experience.
Practical, hands-on coding experience in Python, R, C++, Java, or Perl.
Knowledge in Network Programmability and integration with YANG, YAML, XML, JSON, NETCONF, RESTCONF.
Students graduating April 2027 or later are eligible.
