About the Role
As a Working Student, you will support our Control Engineering team in developing, testing, and maintaining control software for innovative medical devices. You will contribute to control features, experimental prototypes, and test environments that help advance our insufflator and pump technologies.
Responsibilities
- Conducting pre-studies on rapid prototyping rigs
- Creating of simulation tests in Simulink Test
- Building test setups
- Executing and evaluating test runs on automated test setups
- Implementing scripts that support development
- Creating and maintaining documentation
- Assisting with technical investigations
- Assisting with engineering documentation
- Assisting with cross-functional collaboration in a multidisciplinary medical device environment
- Helping improve engineering methods, processes, and model-based development practices
Requirements
- Studies (B.Sc. or M.Sc) in automation engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, mechanical engineering, medical engineering, engineering science or similar
- Experience in MATLAB/Simulink required
- Experience in Rapid Prototyping via dSpace or Speedgoat required
- Experience in working on test rigs required
- Independent, goal-oriented, and analytical mindset
- Proficient in English
