About the Role
We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to lead strategies for increasing value for existing Business Rewards Account customers and Allica, focusing on growing engagement, retention, and revenue from the current customer base. This senior, generalist role involves setting strategy and priorities for customer engagement, translating commercial goals into actionable plans, and collaborating with various teams to execute these plans.
Responsibilities
- Own the in-life strategy and roadmap, focused on extracting value from existing customers and driving cross-sell through activation, engagement and retention.
- Prioritise team effort based on commercial impact.
- Set the standards and frameworks for testing, targeting, and measurement.
- Own day-to-day accountability for in-life performance across Business Rewards Account and Lending.
- Build and run lifecycle campaigns (email, in-app, direct mail, etc.).
- Guide and quality-check work from Senior Growth Executives.
- Identify opportunities in the customer journey for marketing to improve outcomes.
- Review performance data and decide what to scale, pause, or iterate.
- Build a strong understanding of customer usage and identify cross-sell and retention opportunities.
- Feed customer insights back into the product roadmap.
- Partner with CRM/HubSpot, Data, Compliance, Risk, and Operations to plan and execute campaigns.
- Represent Product Marketing in cross-functional forums.
- Manage multiple lifecycle initiatives and keep plans and stakeholders aligned.
- Own the reporting framework for in-life success (engagement, retention, cross-sell, campaign performance).
- Report regularly to the Product Marketing Lead on performance, learnings, and next priorities.
- Use AI-enabled tools to accelerate analysis, drafting, and reporting.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in product marketing, ideally with experience in lifecycle, CRM, or engagement/retention marketing.
- Experience owning strategy, not just delivering against others' plans.
- Proven track record of setting direction for in-life or lifecycle marketing and prioritizing team effort.
- Demonstrable experience designing and running activation, engagement, retention, or growth programs that measurably improved customer metrics.
- Confident making trade-off decisions on effort and budget allocation.
- Strong commercial and analytical instincts to interpret data and create prioritized action plans.
- Confident working hands-on with CRM platforms (HubSpot or similar) for campaign execution and measurement.
- AI-literate and excited by its application in marketing.
- Experience in financial services, SME banking, or another regulated industry is a strong plus, but not essential.
- Ability to set direction and act as an escalation point for in-life marketing.
- Ability to execute plans hands-on when needed.
- Genuine self-starter capable of managing lifecycle programs from concept to execution with minimal oversight.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills to influence and align cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving team with evolving processes.
- Motivated by impact and passionate about helping established businesses thrive.
