About the Role

Feldman, Kramer & Monaco is seeking a Medicaid Paralegal to join our firm. The ideal candidate excels in a fast-paced environment, organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

Prepare and submit Medicaid applications for Institutional and Community-Based applications.
Maintain cases and deadlines required by the Medicaid Agency.
Assist clients in obtaining necessary documentation.
Communicate with financial institutions to obtain documentation.
Assist Attorney(s) with clients, including answering telephone calls and scheduling appointments.

Requirements

Two (2) years' experience in preparing and filing Institutional applications and Community-Based Home Care applications.
Knowledge of Income and Resource guidelines, Promissory Notes, and Long Term Care Agency procedures.
Ability to interact with families throughout the Medicaid application process.
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to adhere to Medicaid deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Time Matters.
Must be a team player.
