About the Role

Seeking a positive, motivated, and committed Recovery Coordinator to join a multidisciplinary Drug and Alcohol Service. This role involves supporting individuals aged 18+ to build and sustain long-term recovery and leading the Ketamine Project for targeted interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of service users, devising, implementing, and reviewing ongoing recovery and treatment plans.
  • Carry out triage, screening, and comprehensive assessments.
  • Deliver structured psychosocial interventions in both group and one-to-one settings.
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies to support service user progression from engagement through to sustained recovery.
  • Facilitate access to treatment pathways and community resources to build recovery and social capital.
  • Liaise with families, significant others, and professionals where appropriate.
  • Lead on the development and delivery of ketamine-specific interventions as part of the Ketamine Project.

Requirements

  • Experience working within the drug and alcohol sector is ideal.
  • Experience delivering group interventions is ideal.
  • An understanding of the impact of ketamine use on individuals and communities is ideal.
  • Strong communication, assessment, and organisational skills are ideal.
  • Direct substance use experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Adaptable, compassionate, and solution-focused with a strong commitment to recovery-oriented practice.
