About the Role
This role provides full-cycle recruitment support to hiring teams across Canada, acting as a strategic advisor on advertising, selection, interviews, offers, and negotiation. Success depends on building strong relationships, attracting high-quality talent, and maintaining strong communication and a client-centric mindset.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the business and become a trusted advisor to hiring managers
- Provide recruitment services across multiple service lines and technical disciplines
- Utilize various networks and online platforms to engage and secure candidates
- Assist with offer negotiations and provide compensation advice
- Keep up to date with employment legislation relevant to recruitment across Canada
- Assist with salary benchmarking and identifying/reporting market trends
- Assist with talent sourcing strategies and plans to increase the pipeline of talent
- Support projects and process improvements with the global Talent Acquisition team
- Assist with implementation of new HRIS system (Workday)
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience
- 2+ years recruiting in the environmental services/engineering/mining industries
- Understanding of the national recruitment landscape
- Experience recruiting across Canada and the US
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools to source and attract passive candidates
- Experience with Workday is an asset
- Proficiency in Spanish is a significant asset
