About the Role

As an Assistant Facilities Manager at JLL, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional site operations and vendor management services. This role involves leading a team, managing vendor relationships, developing client relationships, and supporting innovative programs to reduce operating costs and increase productivity. You will manage day-to-day operations, support capital planning, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and manage financial aspects while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and risk management policies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage site operations in accordance with all agreed policies, procedures, and contract scope while ensuring vendor compliance with contract terms and insurance requirements
  • Oversee vendor management for maintenance services including janitorial, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, critical systems, and HVAC across your portfolio of sites
  • Proactively develop and manage client relationships, delivering exceptional service quality that meets or exceeds key performance indicators as reflected by client feedback
  • Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, prepare monthly spend reports analyzing actual versus budget variances, and manage vendor purchase orders, invoices, and payments
  • Lead, develop, and supervise a professional, creative, and detail-oriented team while providing excellent onboarding, training, and team building opportunities
  • Coordinate internally with fitness, food services, security, and capital projects teams to support site operations including moves, reconfigurations, events, safety initiatives, and reception services
  • Support implementation of short and long-term projects while helping develop and approve annual capital plans for each building in close collaboration with clients

Requirements

  • HS diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in facilities management or related field
  • Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with contract requirements and service level agreements
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills with demonstrated financial acumen
  • Proficient in a range of information technology tools and platforms including budgeting and reporting systems
  • Excellent client relationship management skills with track record of delivering exceptional service quality
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
