About the Role

TELUS Health is seeking a Systems Analyst III - Health & Welfare Benefits Implementations to join their dynamic implementation team. This role will focus on configuring and deploying proprietary Health & Welfare software for major clients, impacting thousands of employees. The position involves problem-solving, collaboration in an Agile environment, designing technical solutions from business requirements, and delivering quality work.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and deploy proprietary Health & Welfare software for major clients.
  • Diagnose complex issues, develop solutions, and communicate findings.
  • Work alongside teammates in daily scrums, sharing progress and supporting each other.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical configurations.
  • Set high standards and produce outcomes that exceed expectations.
  • Learn industry trends, master new tools, and develop skills in the benefits and healthcare tech space.
  • Foster teamwork, share knowledge, and help colleagues succeed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT, system configuration, or implementation.
  • SQL expertise (MS SQL Server Management Studio is a bonus).
  • Strong knowledge of ASP, ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, or similar languages.
  • Experience with configuration tools, Microsoft Office suite (including Copilot), and Azure DevOps is a plus.
  • Ability to read technical documentation and debug effectively.
  • Knowledge of H&W Benefits and/or Payroll is highly valued.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and time management.
  • Initiative and independence paired with genuine teamwork.
  • Reliability, flexibility, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
