About the Role
Monitor, manage, and optimize machine health, performance, and undercarriage lifecycle across the customer fleet, ensuring timely and accurate inspections, diagnostics, and technical interventions.
Responsibilities
- Monitor machine health through EM solutions
- Ensure undercarriage component forecasting management is in place and carried out timeously
- Conduct machine inspections on earthmoving equipment
- Ensure operational abuse is kept to a minimum and machines are operated to their full capabilities
- Perform GET wear analysis Blade/Bucket and compile reports
- Conduct machine operator and application evaluation
- Perform site severity analysis
- Convert inspections to quotes and quotes to orders
- Perform machine downloads and report on downloaded events
- Manage undercarriage replacements on the Caterpillar Horizon program
Requirements
- Three years Caterpillar experience as a mechanic
- Computer literate (MS Office, CAT Software)
- Sound business communication skills
- Sound technical knowledge of product brands
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making capabilities
- Ability to work collaboratively, accept guidance, and contribute effectively within the team (including BWE, CAT, customers, and suppliers)
