About the Role
We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft Consultant to design, build, and operate enterprise integration solutions on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. This role involves owning the integration lifecycle, including API design, flow development, deployment, observability, and ongoing optimization. The ideal candidate will combine deep hands-on MuleSoft experience with strong API-led connectivity practices, partnering with enterprise architects, application teams, and integration partners to deliver reliable, secure, and reusable integration assets.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate enterprise integration solutions on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Own the integration lifecycle, including API design, flow development, deployment, observability, and ongoing optimization.
- Partner with enterprise architects, application teams, and integration partners to deliver reliable, secure, and reusable integration assets.
- Translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions.
- Raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Five or more years of integration experience with strong focus on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Strong hands-on experience with Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, and Mule runtime.
- Solid understanding of API-led connectivity and RAML/OAS API design.
- Hands-on experience with CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or Hybrid deployment.
- Experience with API security standards (OAuth2, mTLS, JWT) and Anypoint API Manager.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD for MuleSoft.
- Familiarity with event-driven integration using Anypoint MQ or Kafka.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience integrating with major SaaS platforms (Salesforce, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow).
- MuleSoft Certified Developer or Architect credentials.
- Exposure to multi-cloud deployment of Mule runtimes.
- Familiarity with FinOps and integration cost management.
- Experience implementing zero-trust API security models.
- Working knowledge of GraphQL APIs on Anypoint Platform.
