About the Role
Join the Digital team at Black Sun to project manage the development and delivery of high calibre digital solutions for our Stakeholder Engagement business, including website builds, projects and changes, content uploading, SEO/GEO/AI tracking and reporting, and digital communications work. Ensure projects are clearly defined, well managed, and delivered on time, to scope, and budget. Develop an intimate understanding of clients and best practice digital trends. Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of projects, preparing and driving schedules, and ensuring all internal and external deadlines are met.
- Participate in discovery and definition stages, interpreting client briefs and defining scope, budget, and schedule.
- Produce and maintain core project documentation, including briefs, schedules, requirements documents, contact reports, and status reports.
- Oversee the turnaround of design and content amends, ensuring all changes are incorporated and recorded for error-free delivery.
- Review and check work before sending to the Account Manager.
- Apply Black Sun's project management and quality assurance processes consistently.
- Manage day-to-day client requests for support, maintenance, and general queries.
- Brief and coordinate suppliers, ensuring their work meets Black Sun's quality standards.
- Book resources in advance and keep the team clear on upcoming deliverables.
- Organize meetings, update status documents, and keep project documents orderly and accessible.
- Contribute to and sometimes produce budget proposals.
- Manage project budgets by following financial processes, including reconciliations, raising Purchase Orders, and supporting the invoicing process.
- Ensure no work outside the agreed scope is undertaken without prior agreement on additional scope and cost.
- Submit accurate timesheets daily.
- Continuously build understanding of clients' businesses, industries, and trends in digital corporate communications.
- Contribute research and insights to Black Sun's thought leadership and share learnings with the team.
Requirements
- 3+ years of agency experience in digital marketing and communications.
- Experience in digital build projects from inception to delivery, with the ability to work unaided.
- Experience project managing websites, ideally Corporate and Business to Business sites.
- Familiarity with best practices in website development, including accessibility, usability, and design.
- Experience interacting with clients at various levels and across functions.
- Experience working with an Account Manager or Client Service team member to manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction.
- Experience scoping digital projects of significant scale and complexity and identifying project risks.
- Experience creating and maintaining project plans, updating the team and client, and flagging deadlines or delivery dependencies.
- Good knowledge of project management techniques for digital solutions including requirements definition, sitemaps, schematics, wireframes, and web analytics.
- Excellent communication skills are essential.
- Must be able to work effectively under pressure, within strict time constraints.
- Must be able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Communicate well, take accountability, and possess a strong sense of ownership.

- Strong interpersonal and communications skills necessary to build trust and respect both externally and internally.
