About the Role
CloudKitchens transforms underutilized properties into smart kitchens to help restaurateurs succeed in online food delivery, making food more affordable, higher quality, and convenient. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on modern, standardized commercial kitchen facilities with a mix of hands-on repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility support, providing a clear path for growth.
Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs across multiple sites, including drywall, patching, painting, tiling, basic masonry, shelving, equipment installation, floor repairs, and exterior maintenance.
- Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Identify issues early and prevent costly breakdowns.
- Travel between multiple sites throughout the week across the Greater Bay area.
- Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day facility issues.
- Partner with internal teams to keep kitchens fully operational.
Requirements
- 2+ years of handyman, maintenance, or facilities experience.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, field-based role.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- 3+ years of commercial facilities maintenance experience (preferred).
- Experience in restaurants, hospitality, or multi-site environments (preferred).
- HVAC/R experience or trade school background (preferred).
