About the Role
Opportunities are available for graduates to join Civil teams in 2027, working in a leading engineering and professional services consultancy to help design, deliver, and manage infrastructure that connects communities and supports economic growth.
Responsibilities
- Contributing to exciting and innovative projects across specialist areas including Bridges, Maritime, Aviation, Rail Civil Infrastructure, Pavements and Asset Management.
- Working on a wide variety of projects, from assessing and strengthening existing infrastructure to designing the next generation of transport, aviation and coastal assets.
- Collaborating with experienced engineers and specialists on real-world challenges within multidisciplinary teams.
- Gaining hands-on experience through design work, technical analysis, site visits, and stakeholder engagement.
- Taking on increasing responsibility as skills develop.
- Enhancing rail networks.
- Delivering sustainable port infrastructure.
- Improving airport operations.
- Developing innovative pavement solutions.
- Supporting the long-term management of critical assets.
Requirements
- You will have, or be on track to achieve, at least a 2:2 in a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree (master’s degrees only accepted for Bridges opportunities).
- You will be looking to start work in April or September 2027.
- You will have an interest in Civil and Structural Engineering, Pavement Engineering, Airfield Engineering, Aviation Management or Airport Planning.
- You will be curious, collaborative, and motivated to solve problems that shape the built environment.
- You will enjoy working with others, sharing ideas, and learning from different specialists across project teams.
- You will take ownership of your work and development while creating value for clients.
- You will be eager to learn, develop new skills, and broaden your experience.
- Candidates must complete the application form in full, including all specific questions.
- If successful at the initial stage, you will be invited to complete an online assessment, containing a Cognitive Assessment, personality questionnaire, and Situational Judgement Test (SJT).
