About the Role

The KENFO (Fonds zur Finanzierung der kerntechnischen Entsorgung) is seeking a motivated individual to join its approximately 50-person team. This role is crucial for managing and investing the foundation's approximately 27 billion Euro in assets to ensure the financing of radioactive waste disposal in Germany. The position involves driving infrastructure expansion, process optimization, and organizational development within a highly demanding asset management environment, with a focus on sustainable investment criteria.

Responsibilities

Co-responsibility for the management, further development, and administration of the foundation's entire project portfolio, including planning, monitoring, and reporting.
Taking on partial or full project leadership for central projects and initiatives within specialist departments.
Co-responsibility for the continuous organizational, IT, and process development of the foundation.
Contributing to the ongoing enhancement of project management standards, methods, and tools within the foundation.
Coordinating and supporting procurement processes and tender procedures, from analyzing requirements and defining service descriptions to documenting evaluation criteria and selection decisions.

Requirements

Completed Master's degree in a STEM or commercial field, or a comparable qualification.
Several years of experience in project management and control, ideally within a financial institution, asset management firm, or consulting company.
Knowledge of classic, agile, and hybrid project management methodologies and relevant tools.
Experience in business analysis of functional requirements.
Understanding of front-to-back processes in asset management and portfolio management is desirable.
Knowledge of implementing and further developing IT systems is advantageous.
Knowledge of procurement law is desirable.
Very good MS Office and Microsoft SharePoint skills.
Very good German language skills (minimum C1) and fluent English.
Independent working style.
