About the Role
The Project Director provides overall leadership and day-to-day management of the MAT-PDOA project, overseeing implementation, supervising staff, ensuring data accuracy, maintaining compliance, and providing clinical supervision for Motivational Interviewing and Contingency Management.
Responsibilities
- Direct all project operations and ensure goals, objectives, and required activities are met on schedule.
- Supervise project staff and provide clinical supervision for the engagement and retention team.
- Oversee fidelity of Motivational Interviewing and Contingency Management, including training and monitoring.
- Ensure timely, accurate reporting in SPARS and coordinate with the Project Evaluator on performance measurement.
- Maintain compliance with 2 CFR 200, HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and all award terms and conditions.
- Coordinate integration of project services with the OTP, CCBHC, and co-located FQHC.
- Lead continuous quality improvement, including monthly data review and Plan-Do-Study-Act cycles.
Requirements
- Master’s degree and current New York State licensure as a mental health practitioner (LMHC, LCSW, or equivalent).
- Minimum of five years of experience serving individuals with opioid or other substance use disorders.
- Demonstrated supervisory and program-management experience in a substance use disorder or behavioral health setting.
- Knowledge of MOUD, OTP operations, evidence-based practices, and federal grant compliance.
- Meets the NOFO minimum 50% level of effort for the Project Director (funded at 100%).

- Travel between clinic-based and community service locations as needed
