About the Role
Socure is seeking a Developer Marketing Lead to own the company's presence with developers and technical buyers, from initial API interaction to full integration. This strategic, hands-on role involves being the primary voice and strategist for developer-focused go-to-market efforts, bridging Product, Engineering, and Sales.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute a developer marketing strategy covering awareness, activation, and retention for Socure's API and platform products.
- Develop clear developer Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), technical value propositions, use cases, and competitive positioning.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to integrate differentiated data and capabilities into developer narratives.
- Translate complex AI-driven identity and fraud capabilities into credible technical content for developers.
- Deliver field-ready enablement materials such as integration guides, technical decks, API playbooks, sandbox environments, and developer ROI tools.
- Build and execute campaigns with GTM and Growth leaders to generate qualified pipeline from technical audiences, including product-led growth motions.
- Drive awareness within developer communities, forums, and ecosystems.
- Own developer content programs, including technical blogs, documentation improvements, video walkthroughs, webinars, and conference participation.
- Define success metrics, analyze funnel performance, and iterate on the developer funnel from first touch to activation.
- Act as the developer marketing owner during planning cycles, QBRs, and product launches.
- Influence stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Sales, DevRel, and Marketing for alignment.
- Establish and track KPIs for developer signups, API activations, sandbox-to-production conversion, and technical pipeline contribution.
- Incorporate market insights, developer community signals, competitive intelligence, and industry trends into GTM strategy.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of B2B marketing experience, with a significant portion in developer marketing, product marketing for API/platform products, or technical content strategy.
- Demonstrated success in driving measurable pipeline and product adoption through developer-focused programs and technical go-to-market motions.
- Strong ability to translate complex, AI-driven or data-centric technology into clear, compelling narratives for technical audiences.
- Experience partnering closely with engineering and product teams.
- Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
- Analytical rigor and a track record of tying developer marketing programs to business outcomes.
- Strong project management skills and ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-moving environment.
- Hands-on experience with API documentation, SDKs, developer portals, or product-led growth strategies is a plus.
