About the Role

Oversees the daily operation of attractions, shows and water play areas within an assigned land at Universal Kids Resort (UKR). Acts as a resource for Team Members, Guests, and interdepartmental partners. Monitors operations for safety, Guest interactions, capacity goals, and labor budgets. Assists with training functions including new hire, re-certification, and safety compliance training. Leads venue scheduling and Team Member cross-utilization.

Responsibilities

Ensures the safety of Guests and Team Members by reviewing and revising safety practices and procedures, responding to unsafe conditions, and performing safety-critical duties.
Routinely inspects the work environment, including equipment readiness, loading gates, ride restraints, and ensures compliance with standard operating procedures.
Responsible for operational/ride complexities and assisting with evacuations.
Develops and coaches Team Leads and Attractions Attendants.
Manages daily labor budgets through venue schedule creation and adjustment requests.
Monitors, tracks, and records overtime, mitigating as necessary by adjusting staffing according to attendance projections.
Analyzes and responds to various reports including Guest comments, capacity, downtimes, incident reports, and training results.
Focuses on Guest and Team Member satisfaction by ensuring Universal service standards are met and supporting escalated Guest issues.
Applies the Universal Destinations and Experiences (UDX) service model to satisfy and resolve Guest and Team Member needs.
Ensures kid-focused Guest service standards and IBCCES standards are utilized throughout the resort.
Ensures Team Member Satisfaction (TSAT) and Guest Service (GSAT) initiatives are followed.
Oversees new hire training and ensures Team Members complete all venue training.
Ensures cross-utilization of Team Members for labor optimization.
Coaches and utilizes feedback forms to document safe Team Member actions.
Effectively communicates information and safety concerns to Operations Management.
Assists with attractions projects, cross-training programs, and seasonal weather condition sustainment initiatives.
Maintains positive relationships and partners with other UKR departments.
Responsible for maintaining quality, cleanliness, and facility maintenance standards to ensure venues are “Show Ready”.
Assists with escalated Team Member/Guest issues as necessary.
Understands and participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
