About the Role
Our award-winning graduate programme provides the ideal springboard for an exciting and meaningful career in global financial markets. LSEG is at the forefront of trading services, supporting businesses and economies worldwide. Graduates will join LSEG’s Markets division on a rotational programme, contributing to a dynamic team that powers global financial markets and helps organisations navigate risk.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and analysing risks, and interpreting data in readiness for the delivery of risk projects or reporting.
- Researching, tracking, and testing content and user interface of online products.
- Conducting research analysis into global markets, potentially focusing on debt listings, valuations, and shareholder and geographic analysis.
- Progressing through a 12-month development journey to build foundational skills.
- Building foundational knowledge of LSEG, Financial Markets, and the business during global induction.
- Participating in divisional-led inductions to immerse graduates into the business.
- Participating in group projects aligned to LSEG goals.
- Attending 'Ignite', the programme mid-point skills offsite, to explore key knowledge areas and skills.
- Accessing opportunities to earn industry-recognized qualifications, including study days.
- Connecting with the global early careers community and contributing to wider society via CSR initiatives and volunteering opportunities.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate studying a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline, who has completed studies in 2026 or a final year undergraduate or Master’s student.
- Must have completed all qualification requirements before September 2027.
- Demonstrable interest in financial markets, built through studies, work experience, or extracurricular activities.
- Competent and comfortable with large data sets.
- Ability to code in relevant languages (Python, SQL) or understanding of tools like Tableau, Power BI.
- Curiosity for data and ability to analyse information to draw conclusions and propose solutions.
- Ability to connect the dots and think strategically.
- Focus, resilience, and flexibility to adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration.
- Must have the right to work in the UK without restrictions for the duration of the graduate programme.
- Candidates are considered on a rolling basis; early application is recommended.
