About the Role
SPATCO Energy Solutions is seeking experienced technicians committed to customer service excellence to advance their careers in the petroleum industry. This role offers updated training and certifications, and the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and trainees, contributing to the growth of SPATCO and its employees.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair gasoline dispensing units (e.g., Gilbarco, Dresser Wayne, Gasboy, Bennett).
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic POS systems (e.g., VeriFone, Gilbarco, NCR).
- Install, program, and test new petroleum equipment.
- Analyze and repair electrical and mechanical problems.
- Perform scheduled repairs and preventative maintenance on fueling systems.
- Communicate technical issues to customers in a non-technical manner.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid State Issued Driver’s License and good driving record.
- At least 2+ years’ experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining gasoline dispensing units, including dispenser hydraulics and submerged pump units.
- Hold valid dispenser certification(s).
- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather.
- Ability to perform daily local travel.
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.
