Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group clinical services to a diverse caseload including children, adolescents, adults, and families through Evidenced Based Clinical Practices.
• Conduct intakes and complete psychosocial assessments.
• Support and cover Urgent Care as needed.
• Complete all required documentation including notes, individual recovery/treatment plans, and required assessments.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy, leading the culture of recovery with strength-based, person-centered services.
• Assist people in acquiring and maintaining skills to increase their quality of life.
• Engage in professional and therapeutic communication with persons served and co-workers.
• Support Urgent Care locations as needed (virtual/onsite).
• Submit timely and accurate documentation using technology.
• Provide therapy in the client's primary language, either directly or through interpretive services.
• Diagnose in collaboration with a psychiatrist and clinical team.
• Collaborate with natural and formal supports.
• Monitor treatment outcomes in partnership with consumers.
• Promote health, wellness, and recovery-oriented initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• NYS Professional Licensure - Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Master of Social Work, or Licensed Clinical Social Work.
• Computer skills and experience working with electronic medical records.
• Previous experience working with adolescents and families.
• Comfortable in both individual and group settings.
• Previous experience working with adults in the Mental Health field is preferred.
