About the Role
Great products extend beyond the interface, encompassing messages, timing, and ease of action. This role focuses on enhancing these engagement moments across Thatch, identifying and resolving user friction points for members, employers, and brokers. The goal is to improve user journeys, optimize communication triggers, and refine the product experience.
Responsibilities
- Identify and understand user friction points for members, employers, and brokers.
- Develop and test strategies to enhance engagement and conversion through email, SMS/RCS, transactional messaging, and in-product experiences.
- Manage and optimize communication logic, including targeting, triggers, sequencing, frequency, and personalization.
- Create new engagement methods such as two-way messaging, RCS, personalization, and language preferences.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data teams on solutions that extend beyond messaging.
- Measure the effectiveness of strategies, learn from outcomes, and inform future development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in growth, product engagement, lifecycle/CRM, or a related field.
- Proven track record of owning engagement or conversion metrics and delivering measurable improvements.
- Hands-on experience with Braze or a similar platform, including building and testing user journeys.
- Proficiency in using data to identify problems, formulate hypotheses, and measure solution effectiveness.
- Product-minded approach, understanding when messaging is appropriate and when product changes are needed.
