About the Role
As a Software Engineer, you will be actively involved in the development of solutions in collaboration with designers, product owners, other engineers, and business stakeholders. You possess a curious mind, seeking to understand the 'how' and 'why' behind code and specific solution contexts. You have an eye for detail, take a proactive approach to creating new features, and value ownership and continuous learning. AI serves as an accelerator, not a substitution, for your work.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale software that directly impacts how the organization works.
- Develop solutions in collaboration with designers, product owners, and other engineers.
- Understand how and why code works and why specific solutions are used within a context.
- Create new features and/or solutions proactively.
- Continuously learn and grow, sharing knowledge with colleagues.
- Keep up with trends and take an active role in learning new things.
- Develop prototypes for departments like Audit.
- Perform monthly software updates on existing solutions.
- Optimize internal processes.
- Implement novel technical solutions.

- Deliver technical solutions.
- Serve as an expert for colleagues not involved in the technical aspects of solutions.
Requirements
- Foundational knowledge of a language like C#, Java, Python, or similar, with a few years of experience in a production environment.
- Experience embedding frameworks or plugins using package managers.
- Familiarity with the ecosystems surrounding languages like C#, Java, or Python.
- Ability to collaborate using Git and share work on platforms like GitHub.
- Ability to explain code in writing and speech.
- Communicative by nature.
- Willingness to challenge people on their ideas.
- Openness to receiving constructive feedback.
- A few years of experience with developing production-grade software using C#, Java, Python, or TypeScript.
- Well-versed in architectures commonly occurring in C#, Java, Python, or TypeScript.
- Experience with technologies like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience packaging and running applications in containers using Docker.
- Experience with container orchestrators such as Kubernetes.
- Experience collaborating with other developers via Git, using platforms like GitHub or Azure DevOps.
- Ability to communicate about work, including outcomes, processes, estimations, and potential issues.
