About the Role
Pulse is seeking an experienced and motivated Pharmacy Technician in South London to support the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred pharmaceutical care within a busy healthcare environment. The role involves working closely with pharmacists and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and contribute to efficient pharmacy services.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services across designated clinical areas.
- Undertake medicines reconciliation and medicines management activities.
- Assist in the safe and accurate supply of medicines to patients.
- Work collaboratively with pharmacists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Support medicines optimisation initiatives and patient safety improvements.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement activities.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards, Trust policies, and medicines governance procedures.
Requirements
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience.
- Strong knowledge of medicines management and pharmacy processes.
- Confident working effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Previous ward-based experience is desirable.
