About the Role
Excell Marketing is seeking a dependable, self-motivated Retail Account Merchandiser to create exceptional shopping experiences and ensure products are displayed at their best. This role offers independent work, an active environment, and visible results.
Responsibilities
- Complete assigned service visits at multiple retail locations each day
- Unpack, stock, and merchandise products according to company planograms
- Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing product displays
- Ensure merchandise is properly labeled and priced
- Build and maintain positive professional relationships with store management and receiving personnel
- Communicate regularly with management and field service teams through phone, email, text, and video calls
- Represent Excell Marketing with professionalism and attention to detail
Requirements
- Reliable transportation required to travel to all assigned retail locations within a 75-mile radius
- Valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and adequate insurance coverage ($100,000 bodily injury per person, $300,000 total bodily injury per accident, $100,000 property damage per accident)
- Personal smartphone with an active service plan
- Basic computer and smartphone proficiency, including downloading and using company applications, connecting to Wi-Fi, completing reports, uploading/downloading documents, using email and two-factor authentication, and using texting, phone, and video calls
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Professional attitude and demeanor when interacting with coworkers, store personnel, and customers
- Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs. independently onto a cart frequently
- Ability to perform team lifts for items over 50 lbs. as needed
- Ability to bend and stoop frequently
- Ability to kneel or crawl occasionally to access lower shelves
- Ability to use a small step stool (no more than two steps) to reach higher shelving
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Fine motor skills for tasks like applying pricing labels and placing signage
- Employees are prohibited from purchasing Excell products from any Excell-serviced retailer directly or indirectly.
