About the Role
Assured Guaranty is seeking an Intern to support the financial reporting group.
Responsibilities
- Prepare templates for financial reporting reports using Workiva.
- Request and collect supporting documentation for financial statement report preparation.
- Prepare tie-outs of financial statements and footnotes to supporting documents for management review.
- Assist in financial statement report preparation, mailings, and filings.
- Complete various administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Basic general accounting or business knowledge is a plus.
- Highly organized.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and consistent.
