About the Role
This professional-track position targets EITs with two or more years of experience seeking to further develop their skills and become licensed engineers in Texas. You will plan, design, and develop complex water infrastructure projects, conduct analyses, prepare project documents and reports, engage with clients, and coordinate with project teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop project concepts and support design tasks under supervision.
- Support alternative analyses and business case evaluations.
- Conduct analyses and designs for water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with other design professionals and resolve conflicts.
- Participate in field work, pilot studies, and data analysis.
- Collaborate with team members to complete complex projects.
- Be familiar with industry standards and client/regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Developing understanding of relevant water infrastructure design areas.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to effectively discuss project issues and support solution development.
- Proficiency in relevant discipline software programs (e.g., AutoCAD, ArcGIS).
- Ability to solve complex problems using sound professional judgment, creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
- Strong interpersonal skills for working in diverse team environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
