About the Role
NCA seeks a Nurse Case Manager in Austin to provide case management services for special needs and eldercare clients, focusing on their quality of life. This role involves collaboration with family caregivers, attorneys, financial planners, and trustees.
Responsibilities
- Provide case management services responsive to special needs and eldercare client care and quality of life challenges.
- Collaborate with primary family caregivers, attorneys, financial planners, and trustees serving the client.
- Meet timely documentation requirements.
- Conduct regional overnight travel 1-2 times per month and occasional nationwide travel.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years clinical Nursing experience.
- Experience in field case management or workers’ compensation case management is preferred.
- Experience with third party benefits including health insurance, Medicaid, Social Security, and Developmental Disability services.
- Proficient in using MacOS and a variety of related software applications (including MS Office).
- Strong ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools in a Mac environment.
- Highly motivated self-starter comfortable working in a virtual company/office.
- Solid time management and organization skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate to accomplish goals and work through conflicts.
- Ability to research and develop solutions to client challenges.
- Excellent customer service skills.
