About the Role

As a Team Leader within our Stratford and Belfast test centre, you will provide assistance in delivering a quality and efficient service. Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will supervise day-to-day operations, ensure smooth process execution, and maintain adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. You will also provide supervisory administrative support, reinforce local marketing and business development strategies, assist with staff training and development, conduct quality checks, and act as the first escalation point for complaints. In the absence of the Centre Manager, you will deputise. We seek individuals who ensure staff are happy and supported, organize and delegate workload, and monitor task completion.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and keep abreast of the day-to-day operations within the test point.
  • Ensure a smooth operation of various processes and adherence to Trinity's policies, procedures as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain the security and integrity of the tests.
  • Deliver supervisory administrative support to the centre.
  • Reinforce the local marketing and wider business development strategies.
  • Assist with the training and development needs of centre staff.
  • Carry out quality checks.
  • Act as first escalation point for candidate/examiner complaints.
  • Deputise for Centre Manager in their absence.
  • Ensure staff are happy and well-supported.
  • Organise and delegate workload.
  • Monitor staff to make sure workload is done correctly.

Requirements

  • Good level of education.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Portray a professional image at all times and in testing situations.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Happy dealing with stakeholders ranging from colleagues to examiners, and candidates.
  • Must be able to work regular weekend work.
  • All posts are subject to a safer recruitment process, including the disclosure of criminal records and vetting checks.
  • Upon successful appointment into the role, you will be required to complete vetting procedures.
  • Standard background checks consist of Right to Work in the UK, Identity Check, Employment History check, Financial Probity Check, Highest Academic Qualifications Check and a basic DBS check.
