About the Role
Manage a portfolio of credit relationships within the Global Credit division of RBC Capital Markets. Work closely with other groups within Capital Markets and the Bank to deliver a full range of credit and banking services to multinational and other large corporate relationships.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely preparation of transaction requests, including new credits, restructurings, renewals, waivers, documentation review, establishing lines for trading and cash management, regularizing ETRs, and indicative risk ratings.
- Complete annual reviews of the assigned portfolio and ensure data integrity of CCMS.
- Participate in team deliverables for regulatory/audit requests.
- Ensure transactional requests are reviewed and approved within policy.
- Complete ad-hoc projects and other duties efficiently and effectively to support the team.
- Develop expertise in various industries, trading products, policies, and guidelines, and provide value-added advice to internal partners.
- Ensure compliance with Bank Policy.
- Ensure bank systems correctly reflect key terms and conditions of agreements and other documentation for the assigned portfolio.
- Interact extensively with other functions of RBC Capital Markets and the Bank.
- Occasionally interact with clients, legal counsel, and other external contacts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in finance, economics, or a quantitative discipline.
- Ability to read and understand complex legal documents.
- Strong credit and analytical skills, including the ability to critically assess financial statements and other client reports to draw reasoned conclusions and recommend a course of action.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and interact at all levels within a large organization.
- Ability to prioritize, perform well under pressure, and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
- Strong general PC Skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
