About the Role
Build the talent function alongside our Head of Talent and own the full recruiting cycle end to end, from sourcing strategy through close. Partner directly with research and engineering leaders to identify, engage, and win top talent in frontier AI research and engineering.
Responsibilities
- Build the talent function by designing, implementing, and running recruiting processes and programs.
- Own and execute strategies to identify, engage, and recruit leading AI researchers, technical staff, and engineers.
- Utilize AI agents and other technologies to streamline talent acquisition processes.
- Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs and iterate on the interview process.
- Manage and optimize the candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Enhance the employer brands of General Intuition and Medal within technical, research, and science communities.
- Identify, attend, and organize talent events to source talent and build relationships.
- Develop and execute creative, high-alpha recruiting ideas.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in full life cycle technical recruiting for technical, AI, and/or research teams.
- Experience hiring frontier AI researchers, technical staff, and engineers.
- Strong technical aptitude to evaluate qualifications in software engineering, data engineering, and machine learning.
- Passion for AI's potential and proactive learning about current technologies.
- Experimental mindset with creative recruiting ideas and openness to building recruiting automation systems.
- Existing network within the NYC technical and research community.
