About the Role

Responsibilities
- Maintain required par levels of implants and surgical supplies for Ambulatory Surgery Center.
- Assist departmental leadership in collaborating with surgical and supply chain staff to maintain programs and processes designed to ensure compliance of service delivery standards.
- Act as a liaison in effectively communicating with the surgical team and stakeholders.
- Manage the flow of surgical supplies utilizing electronic inventory systems.
- Check inventory levels of surgical supplies in designated storage areas and report findings to the supervisor.
- Receive shipments of surgical supplies according to the vendor’s packing slip and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Place new shipments of surgical supplies in their designated storage area.
- Restock surgical supplies according to established par levels.
- Dispose of all waste generated (primarily cardboard boxes).
- Utilize Vocera by responding and addressing client needs/concerns in a timely fashion.
Requirements
- Possess a sense of urgency and a proactive customer service philosophy.
- Have good oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in inventory management.
- Experience with surgical supplies preferred.
- Able to perform moderate to heavy lifting.
Skills
- Workday experience preferred.
