About the Role

We are looking for a Senior DC Pension Consultant to join our growing specialist DC (Defined Contribution) division. This role requires demonstrable relationship and governance experience, good technical knowledge, and a broad understanding of investment.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead client relations, identifying and meeting client needs.
  • Participate in new business pitches for DC Consultancy work.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market practice, legislation, and DC governance requirements.
  • Lead and support projects, including master trust/GPP reviews, selection exercises, buy-out and wind-up advice, and AVC reviews.
  • Manage a client portfolio, supporting ongoing governance through regular meetings and collaboration with stakeholders to improve member outcomes.
  • Collaborate with investment colleagues to provide tailored advice based on client circumstances and preferences.
  • Draft advice to a sign-off standard.
  • Conduct DC research on master trust/GPP providers and their evolving propositions.
  • Work within a team environment, providing leadership and guidance.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience of working within the UK DC pension scheme advisory sector in a consultancy environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness.
