About the Role
As an award-winning home care company, GoodOaks values, develops, and rewards its dedicated carers. We are seeking a Care Professional to provide quality visiting care to clients in their own homes, making a genuine difference in their lives with ample time to go the extra mile.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
- Assist with daily household tasks and activities
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, dusting, laundry, and ironing
- Support with meal preparation and cooking
- Run errands such as grocery shopping or collecting prescriptions
- Assist with personal care tasks like bathing and grooming, if required
- Monitor medication schedules and provide reminders, if required
- Accompany clients to appointments or social outings, if required
Requirements
- Possess a caring nature with a strong work ethic and genuine compassion
- Demonstrate excellent communication and people skills
- Be organized, reliable, and capable of effective time management
- Maintain a professional, respectful, and trustworthy demeanor
- Be physically capable of assisting clients with household and personal care tasks
- Hold a driver's license and have access to a vehicle for work purposes
- Willing to undergo a right to work check and a fully paid DBS check
