About the Role

As a Technical Account Manager (TAM), you will help organizations adopt Google Cloud products. You will guide them through the technical facets of their transformation journey and manage the successful delivery of Consulting engagements to drive customer integration of services. In this role, you will regularly collaborate with stakeholder groups, including enterprise leadership and a cross-functional, geographically dispersed team.

Responsibilities

  • Accelerate customer adoption of Google Cloud by leading the implementation journey.
  • Provide technical guidance and manage timelines, milestones, migration goals, and business transformation strategies.
  • Advocate for customer needs to overcome adoption blockers and drive new feature development.
  • Lead across multiple workstreams and teams to maintain customer momentum.
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders to understand customer business, develop roadmaps, and lead quarterly business reviews and executive sessions.
  • Plan for customer events and launches, partnering with Support, Developers, and Site Reliability Developers to ensure customer success.
  • Work with customers and Support to guide issues/escalations to resolution.
  • Develop best practices and assets based on learnings from customer engagements to support initiatives to scale through partners and accelerate Google Cloud adoption.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role working with stakeholders, and managing customer technical implementations or transformation programs.
  • Experience supporting customers in cloud operations (e.g., launch or capacity planning, product release management), cloud technical support, cloud escalation management, or cloud consulting.

Skills

  • Translating business requirements into technological solutions.
  • Application or workload migration to public cloud providers.
  • Collaborating with teams, groups, business units, channel partners, systems integrators, and third-party developers to deliver solutions.
  • Understanding of IT operations, database systems, networking, IT security, application development, service architecture, cloud-native application development, hosted services, storage systems, or content delivery networks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, problem-solving, and client management skills.

Experience Level

  • 5 years of experience

Education Level

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • MBA or Master’s degree in a Management, Technical, or Engineering field.

Salary/Compensations

  • Canada: $128000 - $131000 (CAD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
