About the Role
The Data Analyst transforms data into actionable insights to drive business decisions, identify opportunities, and solve challenges across departments for CorVel.
Responsibilities
- Provides strategic and tactical support through data analysis and interpretation.
- Develops and implements data collection systems to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Analyzes collected data using statistical techniques and provides reports.
- Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Supports end-to-end analysis development, management, and delivery.
- Interfaces between business and technical teams to understand data context and value.
- Builds relationships with internal customers to understand data and processes for analytic solutions.
- Produces dynamic reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools to solve complex problems.
- Performs additional projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Familiarity with standard statistics and business intelligence tools (e.g. Excel, SPSS, SAS, Tableau, Chartio, etc.).
- Familiarity with standard reporting packages (i.e. Business Objects), databases (SQL Server, SSIS), programming (SML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks).
- Exposure to data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
