About the Role
This role leads data governance initiatives, ensuring data assets are managed, protected, and leveraged for business value. The position is responsible for executing the enterprise data governance strategy, developing trusted data assets to drive loan and deposit growth, enhance member experience, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Execute and support FourLeaf's enterprise data governance strategy to drive business value and achieve enterprise objectives.
- Develop, communicate, and drive the adoption of data governance policies, standards, and best practices.
- Lead data governance forums and champion data governance with the broader FourLeaf data community.
- Implement an enterprise data dictionary and promote the use of data products.
- Ensure published data assets include a data glossary with approved definitions, business and technical rules, and calculations for KPIs.
- Develop and maintain data lineage and data provenance.
- Implement data quality metrics and monitoring.
- Develop and implement data validation rules and data cleansing processes.
- Develop and implement data protection and security measures.
- Ensure regulatory compliance related to data management and protection.
- Design and govern master data models, standards, and policies.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data across various systems and sources.
- Develop and implement AI governance policies, standards, and procedures.
- Collaborate with AI stakeholders to identify and mitigate AI risks.
- Develop and implement AI ethics principles and guidelines.
- Provide expertise in Snowflake and data transformation related to Data Governance.
- Collaborate on the implementation of data governance platforms and tools.
- Ensure effective data management and analytics capabilities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive data governance initiatives.
- Communicate data governance strategies and policies to stakeholders.
- Ensure stakeholder buy-in and adoption of data governance practices.
Requirements
- Strong background in data governance, data protection, data security, and master data management.
- Expertise in Snowflake and data transformation.
- Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write complex SQL queries.
- Knowledge of data platforms used in cataloging and managing data.
- Proven experience in implementing data quality and data trust frameworks.

Experience Level

- 5+ years of experience working in the banking industry.
Education Level
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is a plus.
- Certified Data Governance Professional (CDGP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are a plus.
Salary/Compensations
- $117,456.00 to $146,819.00 annually
