About the Role
Use experience and skills to troubleshoot, repair, adjust and maintain manufacturing and ancillary equipment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, adjust and maintain manufacturing and ancillary equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, adjust and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.
- Use monitoring and testing equipment to facilitate in the troubleshooting, repairing, adjusting, and maintaining of manufacturing and ancillary equipment.
- Further abilities, skills, and knowledge to expand capabilities in troubleshooting, repairing, adjusting, and maintaining existing as well as new equipment and technology.
- Work safely, follow Lockout/Tagout (LO/TO) and electrical safety policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
- Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and taste or smell.
- May require manual lifting not to exceed 50 lbs.
- Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; risk of radiation; and vibration.
