About the Role
An Architecture Manager at CESO provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for architectural solutions across a diverse project portfolio. This role upholds design excellence, ensures adherence to standards and codes, and drives innovation while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement. The manager also oversees team schedules, design workflows, balances workload across offices, and mentors staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical direction to team members.
- Supervise architecture teams and serve as a senior technical resource for resolving complex design challenges and project issues.
- Mentor and coach staff to support skill development, performance consistency, and career growth.
- Oversee team budgets, labor utilization, and resource planning to support efficient project execution.
- Ensure architectural teams meet client program requirements within established budget and schedule constraints.
- Apply advanced knowledge of architectural design principles and practices to guide project execution and support team decision-making.
- Facilitate regular team meetings to share updates, reinforce standards, best practices, and identify opportunities for performance improvement.
- Assist Project Managers and Team Leads in the preparation of proposals, budgets, and design strategies.
- Ensure company QA/QC procedures and standards are adhered to by project teams.
- Assist with project Quality Assurance reviews as needed.
- Supervise direct reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Architecture or related field.
- Minimum of 12 years of professional experience.
- Registered Architect (RA) licensure.
- Obtain multi-state licensure as required by CESO to become a signatory for the company.
- NCARB Certification is preferred.
- CSI – CCS and or CDT certification is preferred.
- Computer skills necessary to enter daily timesheet data and use Microsoft Outlook for email correspondence.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam Revu, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Newforma Konekt.
- Advanced knowledge of Revit, and/or AutoCAD.
- Ability to travel.
