About the Role
The RGA Co-Op/Internship Program provides students with meaningful work, a chance to gain broad knowledge of the insurance industry, and opportunities to network with peers and full-time associates. We offer a welcoming environment that encourages questions, contributions, and the development of technical and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare calculations, reports, and analysis for daily inforce collateral monitoring.
- Automate processes and enhance documentation for Structured Finance using Excel, Python, and SQL.
- Extract asset data from Bloomberg and update reports on RGA collateral and pledged assets.
- Assist the Structured Finance team with ad-hoc projects in risk assessment and financial reporting.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor of Mathematics with a major in Actuarial Science.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Exhibit knowledge and understanding of actuarial concepts appropriate for educational level.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
